Defining what is a project
09-December-20240 – SERIES INTRODUCTION
Introducing project management. Why? Project management is necessary in many kinds of human activity, and most people will play a small or big in at one least project at some time in their working life. It is not a new field; the Duomo in Florence is a great example of project management in the fifteenth century.
This series introduction explains what this course is all about.
The objectives of this series of programmes
The aim of this course is not to make you an expert.
If you are a beginner or a student, the aim is to explain enough so you can play a useful and intelligent part in a project. You will learn about the wide scope of project management; how to be an effective team member; and build foundations for career progress.
Lots of real life examples show how the principles have worked in actual projects.
If you are already working in projects, then this course can provide you with knowledge about a particular aspect of project management you want to know more about.
