28-February-2023After a lot of work, the site is up and running today. Having spent weeks and weeks writing scripts, recording programmes and sorting out photographs and diagrams, actually getting everything up and ready to publish only took a day. WordPress has so far turned out to be a great foundation and the Happiness Engineers they have helped to unwrinkle one or two snags – especially around setting up the menus.
It’s not prefect, but I read a while ago about the principle of the Minimum Viable Product. Rather than try and get everything absolutely perfect, get it out there for people to react to, and learn what works and what needs improving or deleting.
I plan to add at least two more series of ten or so programmes, but as each programme represents about two days of work, that’s going to take a few months. Likewise I want to add quite a lot to the Useful stuff and a few more things to Time off.
There’s a contact form which I’d love you to use to send me a message. It’s as open or as anonymous as you want it to be, so be as candid as you like. Pointers to gaffes, glitches and typos are especially welcome.
